In-person or online, in every session delivered to students, managers, and executives I help people connect to their own hard earned practical wisdom.

“In order to move the world, one must first move oneself.”

Spoken over 2,400 years ago, these words from Socrates articulate my core philosophy around leadership development. To grow as a leader, a person must find the courage to take intelligent risks, to experiment with new behaviors, and to hone the skills of self-reflection so that lessons learned are learned for life.

Blending academic and real-world experience.

I love teaching leadership at UC Berkeley, where I’m surrounded by bright minds and ambitious students. I equally value organizational and corporate engagements, where leaders and managers provide real-world reality checks, helping to ensure I’m delivering practical, outcome-based sessions.

The results are highly pragmatic, empowering
more decisive, focused, emotionally intelligent leaders.
